26th November 2011 Windsurfing: Ynyslas Wind Direction: SW Wind Stength: 25-30 knots Surf / Sea State: 3-4 foot messy surf Air Temperature: 12°C Sea Temperature: 13°C Weather: Cloudy Max Speed: Distance Covered: 20 (Nautical Miles - unless stated otherwise) It doesn't get much better than that! Perfectly powered on my little 75 ltr wave board, first with a 5m then with a 4.5m and more than enough waves to go around. A full-on whitewater wave fest most of the time with lots of kite surfers out and Steve out windsurfing too. Although by his own admission he did spend quite a bit of time swimming! Loads of big floaty jumps, lots of nice gybed, tonnes of blasting through the foam and even a couple of back loop attempts. Warm out there as well. A perfect session. I'm working on uploading a video, but with over 2 hours of footage to sift through I think I'll just pick a few random jumps and gybes. Video Clip of some jumps and gybes here |
